What do hedgehogs eat?

In the wild hedgehogs will wander for up to three miles in one night foraging for food.  Hedgehogs mainly eat bugs found in gardens.  Slugs, snails, caterpillars, beatles and other small insects all make up the staple diet of the hedgehog.  Hedgehogs will also eat frogs, toads, mice and bids eggs if they sumble accross them.
